Hi, I’m Finlay. I worked in the teaching profession for over 5 years and ran a pop up bakery (small & round) alongside my day job on Saturday mornings for 3 years. This came to an end with rising prices and space constraints (operating from a domestic kitchen) being the main factors. Fast forward to now, 2024 and having been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes out of the blue in April, I decided it was time to invest more time in the thing I love, baking ! I was lucky enough to gain a place on the Bread Ahead academy in London but I really missed my ‘old website’ blog page. So small and round mark 2 is born - a blank canvas for sharing my adventures in the world of food and travel. Find a comfy spot and get reading.
